Overlook Terrace

The Overlook Terrace is a very popular location for weddings and other special events.

On the north side, near the Roanoke sound, is a beautiful, huge stone urn from the Whitney collection. Its four carved faces, which suggest the bearded image of the river-god, personifies water. The base is planted with variegated ivy from Shakespeare’s boyhood home in Stratford-on-Avon.
